Someone left a mess in my room

I awoke this morning to find I’d had a visitor overnight. As soon as I saw those letters it bought happiness to my day. Only one person could have done such a thing and even though I knew it was coming up I had forgotten about my second rezzday last night and today. Thank you Buster.



I’ve said this before about Buster, there is something about this guy, he spreads happiness, he brightens my day. Many people will walk in and out of your life, but only Buster will leave footprints.

What shall I be doing with the day? I dunno.

CRUSH - Halloween

The opening night went well with about 15 people joining myself and Esmiel for our sets celebrating Halloween.

During both the sets there was a competition for best Halloween fancy dress and Esmiel was voted by all to be the winner, he promptly put the prize money in the sploder, which I think ended up with a payout of over 3,900L$ Well done to the main beneficiary of that who I believe was Gregoire with a win of over 2,000L$.

Played some horror related stuff in my set, but tried to steer clear of the obvious tunes and hopefully I played some stuff that others had not heard before. My set list is below.

I didn’t get any pictures of the club with its Halloween decorations up, which was a shame as I thought the decorations were pretty cool, but it all had to be stripped out today and the club put back to normal.

So, a new venue with a new style playing the best alternative rock and punk around is now open. See you there.

On the lookout

Well this place is a bit quiet so I thought I’d update you all on what’s going on with Chopper and at White Pines.

Most of you would have noticed that SL has been pretty quiet the past 3 months, but over the past week or two things seem to be starting to pick up, quite a few of the older faces are coming online again now the summer is over and some new faces as well.

White Pines still has a few ground plots free with or without villas and a few skylofts, but most of the starter skyboxes are now full. White Mountain isn't doing so well and I am seriously thinking about getting shot of it unless things pick up over the next few months.

What with making the usual rubbish I’ve been busy rebuilding a club after C:D:G half disappeared when i tried to rotate it and half of the building went out of sim. I ended up with another hundred ‘objects’ in my inventory to add to the hundreds I already have in there. Rather than try to rebuild it I started on a new one, it is now nearly finished and I’m happy with the results. There is the main club, an outside 'yard' area where people enter and can be used as an alternative venue and a relaxation area overlooking the dancepoles.

I now need to find some people to help me run the new place alongside Sound Clash. Finding guys that are into alternative, rock and punk for the new place who can commit to Euro timeslots rather than US timeslots is a priority so if any of you out there want to dance, dj, host, or help manage, give me a shout inworld and we can talk about it.

What I can't do is manage US timeslots, for this I would need to have someone who could look after the place whilst I sleep. They would have to be trustworthy and dependable.

Although I will use the White Pines group to send out news as well If you don't want to use up one of your group slots but want to be updated about regular events and news please use one of the Subscribe-O-Matics with the club image to the right that are dotted about the sim and at the entrance to the club.

☆ White Mountain ☆

Well it opened today, a lot earlier than I expected. The landscaping was easy enough to do as I’d already planned what I wanted to do beforehand. I had 700 prims to play with for landscaping as that’s all I could allow myself with a Homestead sim and allow the 4896sq mtrs plots to have 500 prims per plot.

I hate the usual flat soulless plots that you see so many of in SL so I decide that most of the plots on White Mountian would have sloping ground from the mountain down to the sea and should not present a problem to most to enable them to build a home on, but plot 6 will be a nice challenge. I hope someone will rent it that can place a home on it and make the most of the landscaping.

Because of the restrictions that come with a homestead sim the prim count is low, but most people should be able to have a nice home and keep within the limit of 500 prims per plot. It shouldn’t present much of a proble due to the fact that with White Mountain there is the added benefit of renting a plot of land within a community where you have the whole Island of White Pines to the west that residents can use as they wish and the Serenus empire to the east, with the trio of The Wharf, The Love Shack and Abduction clubs that are the best places to hang out in SL.

I finally got my new island. It wasn’t until I was buying it that I thought, fuk what am I going to call it, I hadn’t thought of it before then. I was really stuck for a name and rather than call it Choppers cruising ground I have settled for 'White Mountain', after all people have got to live there, the last thing you want to have to say when someone asks you where you live is, oh! I live in 'Choppers Cruising ground'.

I have started landscaping and whilst I’m doing that access will be restricted as some of those who have access have full rights to mod the land and other stuff. Once the main bulk of the work is done I’ll open it up for everyone.

The layout will be something like my original plans with 6 plots of 4896sq mtrs.

There will be a bridge from White Pines and a footpath up through the main mountain across to Serenus University. Where the footpath will come out will be decided between Finn, Ches and myself as I will have to work around an existing waterfall and their land layout.
